Nipun is the Founder & CEO at BlueOcean Capital Advisors. He has held senior/ leadership positions across well-known domestic and global companies including the IL&FS group and Societe Generale. Nipun brings more than two decades of experience across private banking, wealth management & equity markets. Nipun is known to be one of the pioneers of the wealth management industry in India. Successful mutual fund industry products like the fixed maturity plans and arbitrage funds are known to have been structured for the first time in the industry by his teams during his stint with IL&FS and later.
In his earlier stint, Nipun headed Societe Generale Private Banking & Societe Generale Wealth Management India, the Private Banking and NBFC arm of the French banking giant in India as its Executive Director and India Head. He earned global recognition as 'Global Outstanding Young Private Banker', an award given to future global leaders in Private Banking, for his work at SocGen.
