Vineet Arora is the Executive Vice President and Head - Product, Distribution & Marketing at ICICI Securities Ltd. He is responsible for all investment products like mutual fund, life insurance, general insurance, fixed deposits and asset products like home loans, auto loans etc.
Vineet has been instrumental in establishing ICICIdirect as a leading player in the personal finance space in India. Vineet has played an important role in setting up the ICICIdirect Personal Finance Services practice. The aim of this new service is to reach out to over 3.5mn ICICIdirect customers and provide professional advice and services to them.
Vineet joined ICICI Group in 2002 as part of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co. Ltd. At ICICI Prudential, he was part of the key team which made ICICI Prudential largest player in the private sector market and its non-agency business the largest in India. He had set up the corporate agency and broker channel, the Middle East business and was heading the Banc assurance and Alliance business before moving to ICICI Securities.
Prior to ICICI, Vineet has spent his career in retail sales across industries, including consumer durables, FMCG and financial services.
Vineet is a mechanical engineer from Delhi College of Engg. and M.B.A from XIM, Bhubaneswar.
